Trimming the Tree

We were so late this year getting our tree up.  Our kids kept asking, but it seemed that Brett and I just were never home together to do it.  Thankfully we found the time!!!

The kids decorated the whole tree while I drank my lemon water on the couch.  It was so nice to watch the three of them doing it together without fighting :)

Brett decided to pull a little prank on Blake.  It definitely surprised all of them.

Im going to miss these great little decorators when they leave the house...
I got this new "believe" sign...

Silly Elfie!!!!

The girls named the deer, Amber...  because of her eye color!!!

1,2,3...  pants are down.  I love Madison's face:)

Squats and Sunscreen

I might be a little obsessed lately with squats and I was a HUGE sunscreen user this past summer!!!  I tell my girls all the time...  Squats and Sunscreen...  It is a little joke at our house.

Caitlin does squats all over the house like me...  It is kinda cute!!!  Brett just shakes his head and smiles :)

The other morning while I was doing squats in the kitchen, Caitlin said, "I love having a weird mom!" Priceless....

Marauders Soccer

Madison joined a travel soccer team this past summer.  It has definitely been great for her.  She is playing on a U12 team...  She is one of the younger players and is playing up a league!  Im so proud of her hard work.  We just finished our last indoor game for a bit.  We are taking the next indoor session off and doing FUTSOL training on Thursday night and a conditioning session on Sunday mornings.

We traveled to Traverse City in September with the team.  It was a great little get away and fun to be able to get to know the players and their families...  We are looking forward to many more years of soccer fun...

She has also decided that dancing isn't quite her thing anymore.  Im actually happy that she made that decision on her own.  Her schedule was getting pretty full!!!!  She is really growing up and maturing...

GO MARAUDERS...

Check out those shoes...

One excited girl to go to Traverse City tournament!

Rain and soccer always seem to go together :(

A Wisconsin Thanksgiving

Since Brett had to work Thanksgiving this year and I have a hard time staying in one place too long, the kids and I were off on a road trip to Madison, Wisconsin.  We were so happy to see the Jensens' new house and check out Madison.

I had a little rough trip there.  Chicago traffic was a nightmare for me and I almost cried.  Thankfully Blake was up front with me and helped navigate and talk me out of freaking out...  how things change :)

As we were pulling into Christy's sub, we spotted a red fox.  It was so cool.  It just sat and starred at us.  My kids already loved Wisconsin...

We were able to meet with Alison and her kids Wednesday.  It was especially a wonderful treat for me.  Alison and I were very close cousins and played so well together.  From the time we were together, it was all fun!!!!!  The kids hit it off well and can't wait to see them again.

Christy is always a great host.  We did so much in our little time there.  We can't wait to go back...
