Little Graduate

I can't believe that Caitlin has had her first graduation. She was excited for days leading up to this program. She loves to sing and perform. She stood right up in the front middle on stage. I took Madison out of school a little esrly so that she could come with me. Caitlin was fantastic. I could actually hear her little voice from the crowd several times. After their performance, they called each child up for their certificate. She had a great first year at school. I was very sad as we were driving away. Her teachers and freinds were wonderful. She is going to be going to a different preschool next year. It is called Nature's Way. It is through the Nature Center.

For Mothers Day, I got a new lens for my camera. I decided that I should experiment with it before the program. Here is what I got. Caitlin just makes me smile all day long. Isn't she just the cutest thing????

Little Cowgirl

Madison sure is one of the cutest little cowgirls that I have ever seen. She is also the youngest rider at the barn. She has been a little timid about trotting around on her own since the fall a few weeks back. I bribed her with a new game for her DS to just try trotting again by herself. I told her that I know that it must be scarey, but I also know that she could do it. I overheard her talking with Donna and she told her that she was going to do it by herself today. I got out my camera and captured this cute picture of her trotting by... It was great to see her at it again.

Caitlin and I love talking walks around all the pastures and talking to the other horses. Caitlin keeps asking me when she could ride. I think she is going to get to ride around for a few minutes at the end of Madison's lessons.

Derby Party

We went to a Kentucky Derby Party. It was a dress up party and hats recommended. The kids had no idea what they were in for. Brett was finally going to meet several of my "new" friends.

These aren't my favorite pictures. Somebody was getting a little crabby about taking pictures. He said that he was embarrassed because the neighbors were watching. Can you guess who that person was?????? I didn't even get a picture of my cute hat.

Blake was mortified when I asked the girls to kiss him. He said, "Please don't send these pictures to anyone"! It was really quick and I love the expressions on his face.

The girls were excited to wear their hats. Caitlin won the hat contest for the kids. I think it was because when she was up showing her hat off, she had the cutest little smile and tilted her head to the side. How could anyone resist voting for her?

Blake is not into taking pictures anymore. I tried bribing him, but even that isn't working these days.
Matilda Jane we love your dresses!!!!!
Caitlin loves to pose for me.

We had a great time at the party. It was fun to see everyone dressed up and all the hats. Caitlin even won for the horse race. She chose SUPER SAVER to be the winner and it won. She walked around saying,"my horse won"! Madison was a little unhappy about Caitlin's two big wins. Thankfully Caitlin was willing to give Madison some money. Madison sat and watched the horses race.
