Traditional Christmas Eve

The k ids and I drove home from the Detroit area Christmas Eve.  From the second that we walked through the door, the kids were hounding me to open their presents from each other.  Brett had to work and we needed to wait for him to get home.  Thankfully we only had to wait till about 8:30...  The kids are so cute how they love this little Christmas Eve tradition...  The carefully shopped, wrapped and kept it a secret!!!!!!

Christmas Day

I always have the hardest time sleeping.  It is so much work leading up to this morning...  I was up about 5:45 just waiting to hear footprints.  I heard them around 6:15.  I quickly ran out to find Madison standing at the top of the stairs with a flashlight lighting up all the presents below.  SO CUTE!!!  She was a little shocked when I told her to go wake the others up :)

The kids and I headed over to celebrate Christmas with the Warner clan...  We were so sad that there wasn't any snow, but we all had a great time anyways...  I'm so glad that my kids can have relationships with their cousins!

Blake's First HUNT

Brett took Blake with him on his first hunt.  They were both a little nervous about going.  It was so great to hear Blake come home and tell me all about it.  We are taking a pheasant to the taxidermist for Blake...
