A Cowboy LIFE

I am in LOVE with San Antonio...  I escaped the cold weather of Michigan and flew to San Antonio for a few days with two amazing ladies!!!  I still can't believe that the three of us were able to find a time that worked for all of us on such a short notice.

We walked, shopped, danced, ate, drank, laughed, napped, sunbathed, and giggled... giggled...giggled!!!!  Girls get aways are so necessary.  I can't wait to do it again.  I came back a little tan, tired and totally refreshed.

Two stepping at COWBOYS was a first for me.  I was in awe when we walked in.  By the end of the evening I looked like a real Texan---  not really, but at least I was trying and had a great time :)  I do want my boy to grow up to be a cowboy...

One day it was a little windy, but the sun still felt amazing...

Hitting the Slopes

We have been so busy lately! The kids are wanting to be out skiing as much as possible. I have been liking it a lot too. My knee is doing so much better:). This is one thing that I have always looked forward to doing with my kids. Every year is getting so much easier. I let the three of them get started down the hill while I'm getting my board on. It makes me smile every time that I see them take off and follow each other down-- adorable. It will be a memory that I have forever!

They are doing great and love hitting jumps in the terrain park. I have been skipping the jumps this year! Maybe next year my body will be in a little better shape.

My Little Lefty

Another season has come to an end!  Madison improved so much and was on an amazing team.  Tonight was our last game.  My little darling scored 3 of the 4 goals for her team.  She was so proud and had the best smile on her face...  I'm so proud of you Madison, my little lefty!

We start outdoor soccer right after Easter.

A Dog's Life

Our sweet little Izzy is 2!!!  My kids love celebrating her birthday.  Of course I made a vanilla cake for her, Zoe and US to eat last night.

Who is more excited to eat the cake????
They ate their cake like a dog ---  no hands or fork!  I wanted to enjoy my cake and eat it with a fork, but they didn't let me :(

This sweet little dog was very lucky that I love her so much.  Just the day before, I came home to this mess...

HELLO Winter...

I am sitting here on our 5th snow day with my kids.  I actually love snow days ---  brings back a lot of great memories from my good ol' teaching days!!!  I also love the beautiful white, winter wonderland outside my window.  Looks like a day full of snow FUN.

I ventured over to the Detroit area last weekend ALL by myself.  My sister was in town from Denver and I was so excited to be able to go visit with her, my parents and the Warner clan.

First...my nephew Drake is AWESOME!!!!  I always knew that he was good at snowboarding, but this kid is AMAZING.  He was actually having his first competition at Alpine Valley.  I was fortunate enough to run over to the hill and see him.  He showed us an incredible back flip off the BIGGEST jump.  He made it look so easy.  He ended up with 6 medals over the weekend.  He only competed in 6 events!!!  Drake Charles Warner will be famous someday...

 TWO First Place Medals!!!!!

I also got to go out with Chad and Shannon.  Those two always are so much fun.  It was a wonderful escape and great to be able to visit with my family KID FREE!!!
