FIngers Crossed... Back to NORMAL!!!!

Wow, this weather has been crazy.  My sweet children went back to school today!!!!  We were all very happy this morning.  However, of course I have a doctor appt for Madison today ---  she has been off school for 4 snow days and today I have to pull her out early.  We've got to get her eyes checked out.

Thank goodness for wonderful friends.  I have been kept busy with kids, friends and girlfriends.

Since I couldn't get out to the gym much, I decided to have the kids work out with me.  They actually loved doing treadmill/elliptical/pushups/sit-ups with me.  It was a priceless moment to look over and see Madison running on the treadmill next to me in my running shorts!!!!  She has been wearing some of my clothes lately---

I also taught them many games that I played as a child with my grandma.  It was a very long Friday-Thursday with snow days, but we definitely made the most of it with time together!  Looking forward to a warmer weekend to ski and snowmobile.

Snow DAYS!!!

I am a huge fan of snow days, but...  today was number 7 and I already got the news that tomorrow is officially closed as well.  I'm definitely losing my excitement for these days.  It surely would be more fun if we could ski or snowmobile, but it is so FRIGID as well.  The kids did venture outside a bit today and loved the fresh feet of powder.

I have already had several kids at our house, gone to a movie, played way to many games and baked today with my sweet Madison.  I am going a tad stir crazy!!!!!

Maybe when they have to go to school until July, I can make up for it on the boat without kids :)

A Week with MY SISTERS!!!!

Did I mention that they are my "older" sisters!!!!  hehe...  I had such a wonderful visit with my two sisters and their families.  Not sure when the last time we were ALL together at Christmas.  We were able to snowmobile, visit our parents in the Detroit area, play with all 4 dogs, laugh, trip to the mall, lunch at OLGA'S, visit, play games, exchange gifts and have an adult only night out in k-zoo!!!  It was wonderful.

My three sweet children...  I was driving :)

Christmas Day

Christmas Day...  It is so much work leading up to this morning.  Thankfully it only happens once a year!  We had such a low-key day.  I stayed in pjs until dinner.  My in-laws had us over to their house for dinner.  I had so much free time, that I got addicted to Candy Crush...  I know, hard to believe.  I am not a gaming person, but, I do love the challenge of this game.  I was also resting up for a very busy next two weeks.  We were skiing in the  morning and family arriving in the afternoon!!!!  I do love having family around for the holidays...

I so enjoyed the presents being opened that I forgot to take pictures...  Ooops!  We sure did a lot of wonderful things :)

Madison loved her North Face

Santa sure does know Caitlin...  glittery UGG boots, spa robe and a disco ball!!!

We might all be in trouble when he gets this working.
