Manicure, Tea Party AND Chuck E Cheese

Caitlin had a great day. Her friend Aspen turned 5 today. Caitlin and Aspen go to preschool together and do at least one play date a week. They LOVE each other. Aspen's mom is also a great friend of mine - Heather.

The party started with a manicure at Escape Nails. Caitlin picked out her beautiful color and even got white flowers painted on her thumb nails. Next they went to a bed and breakfast downtown for a tea party. All of this, of course with their American Girl dolls. The little girls were so cute.

Heather asked if it would be ok if Caitlin came back to their house with them and then out to Chuck E Cheese that night with their family. She said that Aspen really wanted Caitlin to come along. That was fine with me.

This is the longest that Caitlin has been gone from me with just a friend. I was so happy for her. When she arrived home around 8pm, she was so excited. She talked and talked and talked... Of course that is exactly what she wants to do for her birthday now.
